BioWare announced Star Wars: The Old Republic

After years of speculations and rumors BioWare and LucasArts did announce the multiplayer game, set in the universe of Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic. The new project is called Star Wars: The Old Republic. Users were able to choose between jedies and the siths. Each side has its own races, classes. So far, they confirmed only the PC-version. The release date has not yet been named.
The action takes place some 300 years later than Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic (PC, Xbox) and 3500 years before the famous movies. The developers say that the game will be huge and innovative. The team of 12 script-writers for the past few years has been actively involved in writing content for the MMORPG. Each of the classes will have their own storyline. Users will be able to choose in which direction the story should go.
There is already a working version of The Old Republic. There is even a trailer in the net. System requirements must not be too high, and that is not surprising, because the design of the new game differs, but a little from that of World of Warcraft.
