Bush tightened up anti-piracy USA legislation

On October, 13, the U.S. President George Bush signed a bill tightening charge for copyright infringement and appointing a coordinator to oversee compliance with intellectual property, reports Reuters.
The responsibilities of the coordinator include developing strategies to fight against pirates and training specialists in this field. The coordinator will report on the work done directly to the President.
Under the bill signed by the president of the United States, FBI and U.S. Department of Justice will receive more resources to fight against pirates. In particular, they no can seize equipment used for illegal copying contents protected by copyright.
The bill was supported by the American Association of sound recording, movie and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
