Dfine 2.1 for Photoshop: removing noise

Noise is one of the most common problems bothering digital camera owners. It can be caused by a variety of factors such as excessive light at the time of shooting, image processing by a specific camera, etc...
The additional module Dfine 2.1 for Photoshop helps you to get rid of noise of any kind. The secret of the filter is that it helps to identify the source of artifacts and on the basis of this information suggests solutions. Each camera has its own particular photo processing features, thus, noise on images taken by different cameras will be different as well. That is why Dfine has a system of pluggable profiles for each type of camera. These profiles help to more correctly process images shot by the camera, taking into account the characteristics of each model. However, even if you do not use camerasâ€™ profiles, Dfine shows very good results and copes well with removing noise from the picture.
The second version of the plugin differs by the proprietary technology U Point, which allows performing operations with images selectively. First, photographers have an opportunity to specify frames where the effect of the filter is most noticeable, and secondly, users can separately manage reducing of color and luminance noise. You can also reduce noise, based on the range of colors, and, using brushes, select area of the image you want to improve.
Version 2.1 adds support of Smart Filters in Photoshop; adds the possibility of batch processing images in Aperture, corrects errors. Upgrading to version 2.1 is free for registered users. There is a trial version available for Windows and Mac, limited to 15 days.
