The company "1C" has pleased fans of all powerful network shooters, announcing their multi-users shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars from id Software and Splash Damage has gone on sale. The project is issued by Activision in the west.
The plot is deployed on the Earth half a century before the events of Quake 2. The Earth is attacked by stroggers, belligerent aliens. You can play for Defence Forces as well as for the armada of invaders. The player is offered several military classes, each of which has its own unique capabilities. Users will also be able to ride future vehicles (quadrocycles, tanks, walking robots, helicopters, aircrafts, etc…).
It is worth while pointing out, that Quake Wars still looks really good. Elaborated engine from Doom 3 combined with the technology MegaTexture gives a very good picture.
