Gears of War 2 is not allowed in Japan & Germany

The fresh game Gears of War 2 from Epic will not go on sale in Japanese and German stores. This was officially confirmed by representatives of Microsoft. The probable reason is its brutality. For the sake of justice it is worth while noting that the first part of Gears of War has become a big breakthrough for Microsoft in Japan. Thus, it is unclear why the second part was banned in the country. As for Germany, this country does not let in any more or less bloody entertainment.
Note, that Gears of War 2 is not the only project with similar problems. Dead Space was not allowed into Australia while MadWorld at all has all chances not to be released in Japan, its â€œfatherlandâ€.
