Google initiates online dictionary

It's no secret that the automatic translators have one, but a very significant drawback: in many cases, the translation requires further use of another electronic dictionary for a better understanding of individual words in the context. Being aware of this need, specialists of the Russian Google made up their mind to take care of this problem "Previously, there have already been translations from Russian into English and vice versa. You used this system, but additionally you used some other dictionary to clarify translation or examples of the use of some words. Now you do not have to do it any more as the Google page is already equipped with such a dictionary", says the company`s blog. Besides Anglo-Russian and Russian-English, the following translations are available:
English-French; French-English; English-German (beta); German-English (beta); English-Italian; Italian-English; English-Korean; Korean-English; English-Spanish; Spanish-English. English-Russian and Russian-English translations are still working in the beta mode. However, no mistakes and drawbacks were found in the quick testing. The translator even copes with unprintable terms, adding them with equivalents in the box "Similar phrases".
