Hard Drive Inspector 2.50: monitoring HDD

The program designed to track the status of your hard disks has been updated. Using the technology S.M.A.R.T., which is today supported by virtually all hard drives, Hard Drive Inspector analyzes HDDâ€™s and warns the user of possible problems. The program can advise to emergency back up, and immediately replace the hard drive. According to the userâ€™s preferences, Hard Drive Inspector may make backups automatically. Other possibilities include sending reports on the status of the hard disk by e-mail, switching off the computer in the event of a system error. Data on the drive status can also be stored in a log file or printed.
