IBM Is Finding A Path To Mobile And Voice Browsers
28th October 2009
IBM researchers are creating the softwares whereas the developers are being able to adapt a Web page for the voice browsers and also for the mobile browsers, which fall short of a web experience like PC that has lines which are easy to follow.
The technology of the visual editor that has no formal name was actually designed to sort out the problem of getting information from the Web page, containing multiple boxes and columns, and also presenting this information to those people who are not bale to see or have a browser containing full features. To reach out to all of these people, the information needs to be presented in some proper sequence and order for example the various parts of the content of the Web page like the headings, columns, tables and many others parts like these.
The new tool of IBM allows the developers to dictate the particular sequence using some series of arrows, which can be viewed on the Web page that connects to form one single line around the web page from first element to the last one. The company also posted a video that was demonstrating this all. Eventually, it automatically generates these lines that the developers will be able to fine tune.
