Image Sculpturer 1.0: the creation of 3D-models out of photographs
24th October 2007
A new program has come out, designed to create three-dimensional models out of conventional 2D- images. For example, you can create a model of the clock, having photographed it before from all sides, or draw letters on the paper and turn them into three-dimensional text.
The main difference of Image Sculpturer from other similar products is that it allows the user to pre-select the position of images in the three-dimensional space so they would create a 3D- object. Other programs of this kind usually use automatic adaptation of images that do not always lead to a positive outcome. The developers of Image Sculpturer promise that their product is more flexible.
