Microsoft 7 promises to improve UAC in Windows 7
19th October 2008
Microsoft developers keeping the blog “Engineering Windows 7” , have promised to consumers to work on mistakes and to include an improved UAC (User Account Control) into the new OS.
According to users, UAC has become one of the least successful innovations presented in Vista. Microsoft said that by means of this function the corporation only tried “to protect users from themselves”, having deprived them of the possibility of modifying system configuration, disabling anti-virus and executing some other operations. Users have not appreciated such care, and many of them have been unpleasantly surprised, having learnt that UAC prohibits performing any operation which seems unsafe.
The software giant is not going to refuse the protection tool, however promises to work on its friendliness.
