Mirror surfaces in Mirror's Edge

Executive Director of Electronic Arts, John Riccitiello admitted that initially he did not at all like the idea of Mirror's Edge. The specialist thought more reasonable to construct a standard action, which involving the main character. The developers managed to find an elegant way out of the situation, filling the game with a lot of mirror surfaces.
The manager also said that Electronic Arts took a serious risk this year, releasing such games as Mirrorâ€™s Edge and Dead Space. In 2009 the company will continue its experiments. One of them is already known to us. It is collaboration with the Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture. On the whole, the company will put more trust and money in artists with bold ideas. A striking example is the game Spore.
