Mozilla Lightning 0.9: calendar for Thunderbird users
6th October 2008
A new version of Lightning has been released, a program-addon for the free email client Thunderbird. Lightning is meant to integrate the calendar into the mail program and, thus, make it similar by the functionality to Outlook. In fact, Lightning is a slightly modified version of the calendar Sunbird, but working with Thunderbird. The program is recommended for those who combine calendar and mail in one application, for example, if a person receives invitations to meetings and assemblies via e- mail.
The latest version offers:
Improved visual representation of events;
The bar with objectives for today can be displayed in the calendar and tasks mode;
Improved support of CalDAV and iMip / iTip;
Improved work with memory;
Improved stability of the program.
