Mufin will advise music that you like
24th October 2008
The other day, inhabitants of the global network have been offered many services that can create lists of recommended for listening musical compositions, taking into account the user preferences.
Unfortunately, most of these services are difficult to treat without skepticism. Technologies of digital fingerprints, being the basis of these mechanisms, are well suite to detecting duplicates in the music collection or to search for specific songs by its part. However, these technologies are rather weak in coping with searching for similar musical works. Perhaps, a new service called Mufin, recently opened for beta-testing would be the first successful attempt. As the developers say, customers will be offered a database of 3.5 million songs of different genres and trends. Having found in the collection a favorite song, music fans will be able to view a list of list of similar compositions.
The search can be performed from the Mufin homepage.
