Patch for Google Chrome

Google has announced the release of a new versions of its browser.
Security experts of Google say that at the moment, they closed the vulnerability, including Carpet bomb and several other security holes. Nevertheless, further they are planning to increase the protection of the browser.
Now the patch is included only in the version for developers while ordinary users still can not receive this update automatically.
According to information from Google blog, the new version of Chrome under the number of 0.3.154.3 has the changed strategy of downloading exe files (*.exe, *.dll, *.bat) in Windows. Now these files are saved in a special way, and only after confirmation of saving by a user their names turn back into the original kind. The unconfirmed files are deleted at closing the browser.
However, according to experts, this way of solving the problem is just a temporary measure and can not solve all problems. Experts say that even if the file extension differs from that of exe files, it can still be launched, for example, through the Windows command line.
