Pidgin 2.5.2: client for instant messaging with the support of all popular protocols

The update of the famous client for instant messaging called Pidgin (reincarnation of the once-popular Gaim). The program is a cross-platform application to work under Linux, BSD, MacOS X and Windows. It is compatible with most popular today protocols AIM, ICQ (Oscar), MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, SILC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, Lotus Sametime, and Zephyr.
Pidgin can work with several of them simultaneously, thus maintaining contact with all interlocutors at the same time. It supports almost all properties of the abovementioned protocols, namely, transferring files, statuses system and warning on printing.
