Softimage 3D editor will use new tools

The company Softimage reported on a partnership agreement with Exocortex Technologies. The founder of the company Exocortex Technologies owns several patents for technologies relating to the calculation of physical interactions.
Exocortex Technologies is planned to develop new tools to simulate the behavior of fluids, which will be based on the platform ICE. The platform ICE, intended to create complex visual effects through particulates, was for the first time presented in the final, seventh version of Softimage XSI released in August this year.
