Symantec offers trip to the space
24th October 2008
Symantec has tried to draw public attention to a new line of Norton antivirus products Antivirus 2009 in a very original way. The manufacturer reported that buyers of the advanced will participate in the lottery, the main prize of which is the flight on board the suborbital space aircraft.
Aircraft vehicles, known under the slang name Vomit Comet, are used to train astronauts in zero gravity. Despite the brief duration of the flight (approximately 5 minutes), the winners will be able to experience all the amenities of the unknown condition.
While it is not known how Symantec is going to determine the winners. Hopefully, the three “lucky guys” will not turn out to include physically limited people.
All willing to participate in the competition should purchase a copy of the product Norton Antivirus 2009 or Norton Internet Security 2009 and register on the site of emea.norton.com.
