Want to update to Firefox 3.0.3? Take your time!
13th October 2008
After a few days after releasing an updated version of Firefox 3.0.2, Mozilla hurried to please users with another update.
Firefox 3.0.3, according to the manufacturer, is devoid of the bug, obstructing stable operation of the built-in password manager. This flaw was corrected, however, installing the update led to the emergence of another failure in the work of the same component. Users, having installed the update, were surprised to find out that they can no longer save passwords for their subsequent automatic adding to forms, and do not have access to already saved passwords.
The developers promise to release another update, Firefox 3.0.4 asap, which will correct all the earlier mistakes. However, residents of the global network have already found their own way to remove the bug. When connecting to secure resources, users are offered to enter an incorrect password, save it at the request of the browser and restart the application. All passwords typed in the future, will be saved correctly.
