Windows 7 Gets The Love From Businesses

Microsoft Corporation introduced its new operating system Windows 7 on October 22, 2009. It appears that most of the businesses have been waiting for it. A survey plan showed that around 76% of businesses wish to deploy this operating system, out of which 30% will be deploying it before mid 2010. The survey also showed that 78% of people getting a beta copy of Windows 7 operating system found it to be problem free. This brings the "sweet spot" for Microsoft Corporation, which the Windows Vista was missing. The new operating system appears to have impressed many businesses. Many businesses have already had their hands on the beta version of the new OS so there is nothing much left for Microsoft to say about. The biggest competitor of Windows 7 is thought to be Windows XP. Some businesses and home users do not want to deploy it because of the satisfaction they are getting from Windows XP. As global recession is prevailing these days, most businesses can not afford the investments. At this time, it cannot be predicted whether Windows 7 is a complete hit or not because it largely depends on the companies who actually deploy Windows 7.
