Windows Mobile 7 is postponed

The release of Windows Mobile 7 will be postponed. Microsoft has notified some of its partners of this fact. Although the exact date of releasing Windows Mobile have never been mentioned, some partners have been expecting the new operating system early next year. However, Microsoft reported that Windows Mobile 7 will not come out until the second half of 2009.
It is expected that the new operating system will have many notable innovations, including the use of cameras to read gestures, voice control, etc. Some improvements for Windows Mobile are to appear earlier than the rest, and will be released as an update for the sixth version of the OS. This applies in particular to the improved browser visualization engine based on Internet Explorer 6.
