As per the new article spotted over on Eurogamer.net, the huge media company could be eyeing up well on none other than the Valve Software for its acquisition. This report does not hold back from this fact that while the rumor is purely not confirmed, there are some industry chatters who says that this might not be sounding quite as outlandish as one might first think.

Unconfirmed industry scuttlebutt has suggested that the company Zenimax which is the parent company of Bethesda, which has made many headlines back in June when it had acquired the legendary PC studio id Software - is again on the acquisition trail, and has been keeping eyes at Half-Life creators Valve across the bar.

Whether Bethesda, a hybrid developer or as the publisher itself, would want to have the Steam on board, or give it out to some third party, is unclear and not sure as there are also many other aspects related to a potential deal which would once again raise the question of who, actually, owns which part of Half-Life and also the Counter-Strike IPs. The industry giant GameStop is looking out to acquire a solution for themselves.
