Adobe and Yahoo! suggested adding advertisement to PDF-documents

The companies Adobe and Yahoo! have introduced a new service that allows adding ad units into PDF files, which are published online. Advertising, which will be offered to viewers PDF- documents` content will be chosen on the basis of their (users) interests. Ad units will be displayed at a special panel in the programs Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. Distributor of files will be able to see the statistics of advertising showings.
Currently, the program has already involved the resources InfoWorld, Wired, Pearson's Education, Meredith Corporation, Reed Elsevier and others. However, so far the program is only for American resources, spreading the contents in English.
