Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.0.1: update for the well-known video editor

A month after Adobe Creative Suite 4 went on sale, the developers released an update to one of the key programs of the package, video editor Premiere Pro. Updating to version 4.0.1 adds the program with some new features. In particular, we`d like to point out compatibility with projects created in Final Cut Pro, Digidesign Pro Tools and applications Avid.
Import of the projects can be performed by means of XML, exports - with the help of the format Open Media Framework (OMF). In addition, there is support of import and export in the format of Advanced Authoring Format (AAF).
Another important innovation is the support of files RED R3D. Working with such files does not require conversion. Work with RED R3D requires not only updating the program to version 4.0.1, but also downloading a special plugin.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 4.0.1 realizes full support of 64-bit systems, including the increased number of RAM. In addition, the program offers some improvements, affecting performance.
