Adobe Says Good Bye To 680 Staffers
20th November 2009
680 staff members are heard to be laid off by Adobe systems. This number makes 9% of the overall work place. This has been thought to be done just to cut down the cost which is incurred by the company.
The company has told that this cut down in the staffers will be done throughout the world and is not restricted to any one country. It has been so designed as to bring the costs to the level of the budget made by the company for the year 2010 and also it is done by looking at the current situation of the business environment.
A spokeswoman of Adobe has also said that they have lowered the work force at the recently acquired Omniture, by almost 9% at the end of the acquisition. There had been some messages that first appeared on Twitter, which is a social networking site.
During the month of December in the last year, Adobe had announced the layoffs at that time too. At that time it was said by the company that they are going to down size just as to lower the costs incurred by the company. The company also said that there have been slow sales observed by the creative suite 4 software of the company due to the recession which is prevailing in the whole word badly.
