AkelPad 4.0.8: free text editor

A new version of a small but comfortable and fast text editor. AkelPad works with text documents in the single- window or MDI mode, fully supports Unicode under Unicode-systems (NT/2000/XP/2003), as well as Unicode code pages. Using AkelPad, you can even edit files with the attribute Read Only, as well as preview files before opening. Other features include multi-level rollback, the list of recently opened files in the program, memorizing code page for the file, etc…
AkelPad supports additional modules and allows printing the document.
The latest version significantly increases the speed of text editing. In addition, there are improvements in working with IME; support of multi-line URL and outlining the main window in the long file opening.
