AkelPad 4.0.8: free text editor

A new version of a small but comfortable and fast text editor. AkelPad works with text documents in the single- window or MDI mode, fully supports Unicode under Unicode-systems (NT/2000/XP/2003), as well as Unicode code pages. Using AkelPad, you can even edit files with the attribute Read Only, as well as preview files before opening. Other features include multi-level rollback, the list of recently opened files in the program, memorizing code page for the file, etcâ€¦
AkelPad supports additional modules and allows printing the document.
The latest version significantly increases the speed of text editing. In addition, there are improvements in working with IME; support of multi-line URL and outlining the main window in the long file opening.
