Android Smartphone Experiences Turbulence

The first smartphone developer, High tech computer, who made this smartphone to be based upon the Android mobile operating system by Google, has been experiencing a decline in its revenue generation during the third quarter of the year as its competition has increased during the year and also its sales also gone down in all of the Europe. The company has said that the company`s revenue have gone down to about ten percent from year to year to an amount of US$ 1.05 billion and so is the case with the net profit of the company which has decreased from NT$ 6.99 billion to an amount of NT$5.70 billion.

The analysts have said that with the growing competition in the smartphone market along with the launch of iPhone 3GS both have caused problems for the smartphone makers. There had been a slash in the prices of iPhone 3G that which went to an amount of US$ 99 at the time when it was launched in the month of June. They have also moved their price tags to show an amount of $ 199 on their new handset. This move has helped greatly to give record high revenue for the quarter to an amount of $ 9.87 billion during the recent quarter which ended on 26th Sep. This was so recorded as there had been highest computer shipments by iPhone as well as by Mac.
