Avast! Home Edition 4.8.1282: free antivirus

Another version of the free anti-virus package for home users. The program has all the necessary components to protect your home computer: a scanner of selected files, the possibility of testing for viruses all files that were opened and changed, the module for checking e-mail, the scanner Boot Time.
The program is integrated into Windows Explorer. Avast! Home Edition also has the module of Virus Chest for isolation and storage of suspicious objects.
The latest version improves some archives extractors (Zip, 7-Zip, WinExec); fixes a bug of incompatibility with the driver ext2fsd; adds Network Shield with blocking malicious links; adds the possibility of sending statistical information on virus detection; accelerates the work of the scanner.
