Blizzard & Microsoft getting rid of freeloaders
25th November 2008
The company Blizzard held a large-scale cleansing in the service Battle.net, blocking about 350 thousand accounts. Those who were expelled from the free network service of the known developer, turned out to use illegal cracking programs. So now it will be more of peace in StarCraft and Diablo 2.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is actively banning users, who enter the service Xbox Live, using their consoles of cracked firmware. Only a small percentage of users has no access to the network. On the total, this service has more than 14 million subscribers. Access to Xbox LIVE is not only an opportunity to participate in multiplayer fights, but also a way to download demos, videos and buy games.
