This group has issued a report, which states that the number of Wikipeida's editors is still consistent. Dr Felipe Ortega has prepared a report, according to which in the first three months of the year 2009, 49,000 editors of Wikipedia have departed. Editors play vital role in maintaining, updating and administering the information of online references.

Senior officials of Wikipedia including deputy director of Wikipedia, Erik Moeller and one of the analysts, Erik Zachte, have responded on the report of Dr Ortega. They have claimed that there is no ongoing issue with the editors. Both these officials have said that in the year of 2007, the number of the editors was at the top, this number then slightly faced a slump, but again gained its strength and now everything if fine.

This foundation loses editors on monthly basis, but it appoints new editors, which fills the vacant spaces. In this way, the writing for Wikipeida has never been affected.
