Droid Tethering
15th November 2009
It has been confirmed by Verizon that the customers will be able to connect their laptops with the latest smartphones of Motorola Droid by using the wireless modems of their phones. These smartphones are now on sale and the customers can easily use them to connect to the Internet through their phones. The carrier has not given any news about when this facility would be available for the customers but have assured the people that they will be able to do so in near future. They have also said that this service will be charged too and the customers will have to pay for getting this tethering service. The amount of $30 has been fixed for a month. This would double the fees of the Droid by giving a data transfer of 5GB. After this specified limit Verizon would be charging additional 5 cents for each of the megabyte.
