EVE Online will have rich inner world in 2009

Until now, residents of EVE Online have bee enjoying only the appearance of the virtual universe, but the CCP developers will soon “volumize” the locations, giving players a chance to walk the space stations and settlements. In addition, players will be able to build their own avatars and personally communicate with colleagues and enemies.
The new feature will be introduced in the addon, coming out in 2009, the code name of the project being Walking in Stations.
To construct beautiful scenery and models of characters, CCP bought the technology Enlighten, which must greatly simplify the development process and give artists more freedom.
