The SDK revision 3 that is required for building the applications for Android 2.0, is supporting the coding using Ant build system or the Mac OS X 10.6. Also, Google is going to release its Android Development Tools as plug in for Eclipse development environment.

The Android 2.0 has started to appear on the new devices, like the upcoming Droid from the Verizon Wireless, which has been making up the headlines for the iDon't ads as compared to its capabilities with those of the Apple's iPhone. On the Android Developers Blog, Google has said that the upcoming Android devices will be running versions of 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0, and it is expecting to offer one minor 2.0 update before the end of this year.

The latest Android allows the addition of multiple accounts to a device for e mail and the contact syncing, which includes Microsoft Exchange accounts if there is a support added by the device manufacturer, and also a support for combined inbox of those multiple accounts.
