FreeRIP 3.04: compression without loss

A new version of the simple ripper-compressor has been released. It contains built-in encoders LAME (MP3), and Ogg Vorbis, can convert already existing WAV- file into one of these formats. The program has two operation modes: for processing the same file in the batch mode. During ripping or compression you can set volume levels. FreeRIP suports an online database freedb and automatic filling tags, so if there is a connection to the Internet, all data on the title of the album, artist and track names can be filled automatically. The program is translated into more than 25 languages.
The program is available in two versions - free and commercial. The latter has a mode of more rapid ripping and conversion, as well as the opportunity to run several copies of the program at the same time.
The latest version introduces a full-functional module to work with tags; adds context menu with the commands for editing tracks, new hot keys; improves work with ASPI drivers, etc…
