Gartner Elevated Its Revenue Forecast

For the industry of global chips, Gartner has raised the forecast of its revenue. It has been raised because the demand for the mobile phones as well as for the PCs has increased greatly than the expectations. Also the demands for these chips have also increased due to the government stimulus programs.
It has been predicted, by the researchers of the market, that the revenue of the global chip will go to the amounts of $ 226 billion during the current year. This figure is 11.4 percent lower than the amount of $ 255 billion of the previous year. The new figures are the improved values of the previous forecast of Gartner which was giving a fall of 17.1 percent and was making the revenue to be $212 billion only. Gartner has also said that the revenue for the chips will also go up by 13 percent to an amount of $ 255 billion and due to this they have increased the values which were projected for the year 2010. Gartner says that this will match with the highest values of the year 2008. Previously there was a 10.3 percent growth forecast for the coming year which made the amount of the revenue to be $ 233 billion.
