GIMP 2.6.3: Linux graphics editor, also running under other systems

A new version of the popular in the Linux environment free software GIMP, meant for image processing.
Using GIMP, you can perform such tasks as editing images, creating collages, protecting images from copying, etc. The program supports work with channels and layers, alpha channel, editable text layers. It has many tools of selecting and painting. The program can also be used as a convenient tool for batch files conversion. Features of GIMP can be expanded by connecting additional modules, the number of which is more than a hundred.
The latest version fixes bugs found after the release 2.6.2; it also updates language modules.
Although the program initially was designed for Linux, it also runs under Windows and Mac.
