Google opens video channel dedicated to personal data

YouTube introduces a new channel Google Privacy. Within it, Google publishes videofiles dedicated to the company`s policy, which deals with collecting and storing personal information about users. For example, in a video entitled "The Google Search Privacy: Plain and Simple" you can watch an engineer of the company, be means of a marker and a board, explaining what information is saved on Google's servers, when a user searches.
In the next scheduled video files, Google plans to explain how the company maintains logfiles that appear when a user signs in his/her account.
Let`s remember, that recently, Google has changed its policy on the storage of users` cookies. If the company previously reported that all the cookies would be saved up to 2038 year, having thus aroused critical feedback squalls; now the files, considered by many people as a threat to their security and confidentiality will be maintained during the two years since the last user`s visit of Google services. Each time a person goes to Google, the date of removal his/her cookies will be transported forward.
