Google Will Get Admob
17th November 2009
Google has been thinking of buying Admob which is a mobile advertising provider. The search giant has said that it would be buying this company for an amount of US$750M stock. Admob is a leading mobile advertising company. It has provided ads to some applications which are being run on the mobile operating system of Google i.e. Android.
Google has said in a statement that although the mobile advertising market itself is in its early development days, there has been a remarkable and tremendous progress done by Admob in the mobile advertising market.
The deal of Google with Admob has filled in the gap as it has a major focus on mobile search ads. It has also been published by Google that there would be more details about its acquisition of Admob on the web pages. The main focus of the mobile advertising company Admob is on the displaying of ads and the in-application ads too.
Google and its competitors such as Yahoo and Microsoft too greatly realize the importance of display ads and in application ads, and this is the reason they had been competing to get more of the tractions in the mobile market. All of these companies look at this as great revenue making process for their company.
