This center is called Business Analytics Center of Competency, which will be having more than 200 consultants in the areas of business analytics, who will be interacting with the customers throughout the world as said by Simon Thomas, who is a service line leader at the IBM India for global delivery of the business analytics as well as the optimization services.

Thomas has said it on Friday that the global business services operation of IBM in India is already working in the areas of business analytics and the optimization with about the staff of about 2,000 people. But the most work done so far consists of the development of applications, and delivering the services and support to the customers. He further added that this new center i.e. the first business analytics center of IBM in the whole world, is actually focused on providing the top quality expertise to its customers as said by Thomas. It will be having experts with the published papers in such areas like advanced analytics, the business intelligence, content management, process management, and also the enterprise integration management.
