Komodo IDE 5.0: new version of integrated environment for developing web-applications

The company ActiveState Software has released a new version of Komodo IDE 5.0, an integrated environment for web-application development that allows professionals to assess advantages of dynamic programming languages.
The package includes tools for editing and debugging software code in Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript and Tcl.
The proposed product is designed for small and separated teams of developers, and is based on the platform Mozilla 1.9 (the basis of Firefox 3), and supports the new version of programming language Python 2.6.
Komodo IDE 5.0 can boasts its high-speed and provides advanced features of code formatting which allows more efficient sharing of code fragment between the developers teams.
Developers can use both built-in formatting tools and the common third-party tools (including PHP Beautifier, Perltidy and astyle). Users are also offered the support of distributed control systems of versions Git, Mercurial (hg) and Bazaar (in addition to the systems of Subversion, Perforce, and CVS, supported in previous versions).
