McAfee acquired service ScanAlert

The known company McAfee, which provides security solutions, reported on its buying ScanAlert, the author of the commercial service for scanning sites for vulnerabilities and the availability of the latest updates in the applications. ScanAlert has over 8000 customers and more than 75 thousands of sites. Among the custs of the company there are Guess, Toshiba and Warner Brothers.
ScanAlert and the company logo (Hacker-Safe) will be integrated into the service SiteAdvisor, provided by McAfee. SiteAdvisor scans sites and monitors lest malicious modules should be situated on them. Users can download a special toolbar, which will show the level of the site`s danger. If the user enters the site, which is protected by ScanAlert, he will see the logo Hacker Safe.
