Mobile Internet Explorer 6: getting ready for Windows Mobile 6.5

Microsoft has introduced an update to its mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 6.1.4.
It includes the new browser for mobile devices called Internet Explorer Mobile 6 (IEM6).
The new browser is just a real breakthrough compared with the sick-â€™nâ€™-tired-of Internet Explorer Mobile 4, which still comes with Windows Mobile. IEM6 provide such features as a higher quality of images with the support of full screen rendering in the emulator mode; corrections to the layout of output data (matching text with the windowâ€™s width), etcâ€¦
The new mechanism of scenarios interpretation Jscript 5.7, taken from the desktop browser Internet Explorer 8 provides improved client scenarios and support of the technology AJAX.
IEM6 advantages as well include support of the content in Adobe Flash. The developers significantly improved integration with the proprietary search engine, as well as navigation by means of the cursor. In addition to this, IEM6 supports management using sensory gesticulative commands, offers several levels of zooming pages, and also lets you quickly switch between mobile and desktop versions of opened Web pages using special Â«User-AgentÂ» variables.
It should be noted that Windows Mobile 6.1.4 - is just the first step towards a new version of Windows Mobile 6.5, which, apart from the browser will be different by its new interface, optimized to work with your fingers rather than stylus. As for Windows Mobile 7, this platform expected by 2010, will inherit presented new opportunities, and also receive multi-sensor interface and built-in functions of the Zune players. Multimedia functions still remain a weak point of Windows Mobile.
