Outside Developers Courted By Paypal

PayPal opened the software platform for outside developers in its move which is designed to unleash the flood of creative uses of the online financial transaction service.
Company which is owned by the online auction powerhouse eBay has marked this occasion with the inaugural PayPal X Innovate conference which was held in San Francisco.
The nternet entrepreneurs have flocked to this gathering that continued till Wednesday. The PayPal engineers have addressed rapt audiences in the sessions and seminars and have devoted to the mechanics of building up secure financial transactions to just about anything that linked to the Internet.
PayPal's president Scott Thompson has told AFP that the big claim for fame is this that they make things very easy if anybody wants to pay up for the things online.
He added that the Internet is doing such things to the lives of the people today that nobody had imagined, and is replacing the longstanding industries. At day end, everybody wants to take the advantage of that.
The sold-out conference also delivered on the promise of Thompson that was made two weeks earlier and said that PayPal would be first global online payment service which will open its platform for everyone.
