Patent Filing By Apple Brings Tablet Device Rumors To Limelight

There has been a recent patent published by Apple for the recognition of hand writing on such computers which are pen based. This patent has reignited the rumors that the company will be soon making its tablet device public. This could be the planned decision of Apple who might be in a race with its rival Microsoft. But it has been leaked out and hints are also given by Microsoft about the small innovative tablet device called the Courier. This device is in the process of its development.
The Apple`s patent application that has been published in the U.S trademark and patent office few weeks before has been aimed to acquire and organize the ink information which is present in the pen aware computer systems. This is one such device which is not available by Apple currently. Though there are the facilities of hand writing recognition.
Some of the code of the Newton handled device and OS, which was renamed as Inkwell, was also brought to the Mac OS X in order to be used by the peripheral graphics tablets.
During the early days of the current month, the chief researcher and the strategy officer refused to give any of his comments about the tablet device Courier of Microsoft.
