Photobucket expands the possibilities of using tags
18th November 2007
The site of Photobucket has been added with an interesting innovation: users can add labels, not only for individual pictures, but for certain people or objects on them.
So far not Photobucket`s search by tag had not function. When searching the database only names of images were taken into consideration. This means, for example, that at the query, "Bridge" the photo "View of the Golden Gate" could not be found. Now, the user can specify the desired keywords, and they will be taken into account in the search.
In addition, the user can specify exactly where the bridge is located on the photo, as well as add labels, which will not be taken into account in the search results and appear in the form of notes to the image.
It is also worth noting that when people are using photos from Photobucket to other sites, the tags will be automatically added together with the introduction of photographs.
