Power Archiver 2008 11.02: universal archiver

One of the most powerful alternative archivers, Power Archiver has been updated. Once, the program was free, but as its features increased, the commercial status came. This is a modern application that combines support of virtually all popular archive formats. It can pack in ZIP, as well as CAB, LHA, BH, TAR and 7Z with a high degree of compression; extract files from ZIP, 7-ZIP, CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, BH, XXE, UUE, yENC , MIME, RAR, ARJ, ARC, ACE and ZOO. There is also an opportunity to open different files image formats of CD, namely: ISO, BIN, IMG and NRG.
The interface supports skins, works both in the classical and modern form (like Windows Explorer). It is integrated into contextual menu of the operating system and intercepts files associations.
There are also supplement functions to upload files on a server or sending via email. The program`s interface is localized for different languages, including rare ones. The product is distributed in two versions: standard and professional. The latter has advanced backup features, virtual drive, the possibility of recording and copying CD and some other features not characteristic of a standard archiver but still very useful.
