iTunes 9.0.2 update of Apple is a part of its rollout of the Apple TV version 3.0. New iTunes comes with the several new features and has improvements in it which include a new look and feel, an easier browsing and the navigation, and also has more flexibility with syncing according to Apple.

While this update allows the iPod and the iPhone users too to better organize their home screens directly in the iTunes by allowing a syncing of the individual artists, genres or the TV shows and also the Podcast episodes, it once again wipes out Palm Pre’s ability for the users to sync their iTunes files.

This chasing game between Apple and Palm had been going since the launch of Palm Pre in the month of June. Once Palm had released the Pre with its ability to sync the iTunes songs and also many other files, Apple has quickly retaliated and has blocked this functionality with an iTunes 8.2.1 update that blocks the Pre's ability to sync with iTunes.

Not only Palm added over the air update, but it has also complained to USB Implementers Forum, which is a nonprofit corporation created by those companies who have founded the specification of the Universal Serial Bus. Palm has complained to USB-IF that the Apple Inc. has been abusing the principle of the open gadget connectivity.
