Total Uninstall 4.40: managing installed programs
29th November 2007
A new version of the program has been released, designed to uninstall applications, as well as to track changes, made by applications to the registry. Before installing a new program, Total Uninstall takes a snapshot of the system, and then takes the same snapshot at the end of installation and compares them. When a user wants to delete some program, Total Uninstall analyzes all the changes that the program made in the system, and gives a detailed list of files, folders, registry keys and values belonging to it. A user can delete all or some of these elements.
The latest version adds support of 64-bit systems.
