Visible Body: studying anatomy in a browser window
30th November 2008
This is a curious manual for all people interested in anatomy offered by the company Argosy Medical, a publisher of a number of textbooks and computer programs to facilitate the study of this discipline.
Now you can study the subject in the browser window. Visitors of the site Visible Body are offered an interactive three-dimensional model of a human (female) body, showing all vital systems and organs. The proposed model can be rotated and zoomed. A convenient navigation menu on the left side of the display, will allow you to select any organ or a combination of ones for detailed scrutiny.
You can register on the site for free. The only thing that matters is whether your browser is compatible with the resource, for developers guarantee the stable work of Visible Body only in Internet Explorer.
The interactive tutorial Visible Body may be helpful for teachers and students, scientists and health workers.
The full version of Internet Explorer 8 comes out in summer 2009
