Vista Start Menu 2.65: alternative to Start menu
19th November 2007
There are many programs that improve various possibilities of Windows. The utility Vista Start Menu is one of them. This small-sized program is an alternative to the Start menu. The main difference is that labels for applications, installed in the system, do not change their position and are constantly situated at the same place. Labels in Vista Start Menu are arranged alphabetically, and even if a user deletes one of the programs, the situation does not change for the rest - just a blank space will be left instead pf the program. When a user installs a new program, this space is filled. In addition, the menu of Vista Start Menu is much more visual than Start menu.
The latest version offers:
Added support of Google Desktop;
Installing files have a digital certificate;
Improved automatic language recognition;
Improved distribution of processor load during indexing;
Folder “My Documents" is removed from the list of indexation;
Fixed error with the emergence of two search windows.
