Warhammer Online postponed till mid-2008

Representatives of the company Electronic Arts (EA) said that their multiplayer game Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will not be released in March of 2008. Instead, the developers are going to release the project in the first half of the fiscal year, i.e. approximately in April 2008. The report on postponing the date of this release appeared on the network just a few days after it became known that the company EA Mythic soon would reduce the number of its stuff for the sake of reducing costs.
However, there is no fear that the department will close at all. EA Executive Director John Riccitiello states that EA Mythic will continue its work. Moreover, the studio is going to expand. Regarding the change of releasing Warhammer Online, it has a very good explanation. Mythic team simply can not manage to do everything in time and with quality.
